Professor Richard Susskind OBE KC (Hon) is the world’s most cited author on the future of legal services. He is both a lawyer and a technologist, and has been the President of the Society for Computers and Law since 2012. From 1998 to 2023, he was Technology Adviser to the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales.

He has written 10 books and his work has been translated into 18 languages. In the 1980s, he wrote his PhD at Oxford University on AI in the law and he co-developed the world’s first commercial AI system for lawyers.
