Taxi

Taxis provide the most convenient point-to-point transportation service for people with disabilities. For passengers with folding wheelchairs who can transfer into or out of a regular taxi, nearly all Hong Kong taxi cabs will be an option. Taxi fares as recorded by the taximeters are charged according to approved fare scales. No additional charge is levied on wheelchairs and crutches carried by passengers with disabilities.

Two existing taxi operators, namely Diamond Cab and SynCab are providing passengers with WATs and service of higher quality in the form of hire-as-a-whole service.
