Evgeniya Goriatcheva
Evgeniya Goriatcheva is Senior Legal Counsel at the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) and Head of the PCA Vienna Office. In this role, Evgeniya assists tribunals in international commercial, investment and inter-State arbitrations, as well as in expert determinations. Evgeniya also assists the PCA Secretary-General in appointing/deciding challenges to arbitrators, and represents the PCA in multilateral fora such as UNCITRAL Working Groups II (Dispute Settlement) and III (ISDS Reform) and the UNGA Sixth Committee.
She co-authored the Guide to the PCA Arbitration Rules (OUP, 2014, with B. Daly and H. Meighen). She is a member of the Program Committee for the ICCA Congress 2024 and the IBA Investment Arbitration Subcommittee. Evgeniya earned her B.C.L. and LL.B. degrees from McGill (2010) and is a qualified lawyer in Quebec, Canada. She is fluent in English, French and Russian.
